Kayak Put-In Info for: Oyster Point Marina, San Mateo County
Overview: Oyster point is a good starting point for paddles in the open bay. This is not a beginner location, but there are several open water destinations that originate from this easy to access site. One fun trip is to Coyote point and back.
Parking: There is a fee for parking ($5.00). You can drive up to the boat ramp and hand-launch your boat. No portage needed!
Facilities: This location has restrooms, water, and a public shoreline trail.

Directions: Take Highway 101 to the South San Francisco-Oyster Point Boulevard exit. Take Oyster Point Boulevard East. Turn right on Marina Boulevard. Turn Left on Harbor Master Road. Oyster Point Marina-Park is 8.2 nautical miles south of the San Francisco-Bay Bridge.
Cautions: All destinations originating from this location are open-bay trips. You must have strong self rescue skills, and good knowledge of the tides and currents in this location.
