Kayak Put-In Info for: Emeryville Marina, Emeryville

SF Bay Kayak Put-Ins OverviewOverview: You can launch at the public boat launch fee free, and paddle through the marina out to the breakwater. Another small launch pad is located at the very end of Marina park. Google latitude/longitude coordinates are N37 50.527 W122 18.798. This launch area places you on the outside of the breakwater, bypassing the marina itself. Emeryville Marina is adjacent to superb bird habitat and is the closest access to the tiniest remainder of one our saltwater marshes near the base of the Bay Bridge. The marina itself has a nearby restaurant, a great local market along Powell St, public restrooms, a pier, and grassy areas for picnicking.

SF Bay Kayak Put-Ins DirectionsDirections: Take the Powell St. exit from Hwy 80 and head west. The public boat launch is directly across from the restaurant within the marina. To access the small launch pad, continue along Powell, through the Marina's gated entrance, and past the restaurant toward the pier. You'll have to carry your craft along the pathway to the base of the pier. The launch pad is on the left side, as you face the pier.
