Kayak Put-In Info for: Remillard Park - Corte Madera Creek, Larkspur
Overview: Good place to pull over next to the side of Sir Francis Drake. Access to the shoreline is a bit rough, but a fairly short walk. Pick a medium or higher tide or you'll be hemmed into the ferry channel. Can get fairly windy - it's also a popular windsurfing spot, and parallel parking spaces fill up. The launch is just baside of the ferry terminal, so you have a bit of a paddle to get out to the bay proper or across to Tiburon peninsula and deeper water.
Parking: Another option is to park in the rough parking area immediately outside the San Quentin west gate. Tougher (steeper) haul to/from the water. Less impacted by low tide mudflats.

Directions: Sir Francis Drake east of Highway 101, go approximately 1 mile and park on the south side.
Cautions: Quite a few rocks to cut your feet on if you don't wear booties.
